It all started on that day in the 3rd grade when she performed Santana on her Stratocaster Mini in front of her elementary school. From that day forward Lexi Peto has focused on her dream: to become a country music artist in Nashville. She learned to play the guitar, ukulele, banjo, mandolin and piano and at age 15 she has written over 30 songs and is a recognized member of Songwriters Association of Washington (SAW) and Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI).

She has performed numerous times at over 30 Washington DC area venues, festivals and SAW showcases. She has opened for John Cowan (of the Doobie Brothers) and is scheduled to open for Jamie Lynn Spears at a Michael J. Fox Foundation Benefit.

In 2013 a major tragedy affected her life when she lost her mother at 14 years old. Her father and stepfather took her to Nashville for the first time and have been with her supporting her career and dreams.

She travels to Nashville regularly now and has played at over 10 venues including Debi Champion?s showcase at the Commodore Grille, Pepsi Studio Gallery at Fontanel and numerous times with Buck McCoy at Legend?s in downtown Nashville.

She records her music locally at Omega Studios in Rockville Maryland and is producing her first album entitled ?Where I Belong? at Direct Image Recording Studio in Nashville.
