In this training Carlo Spagnola walks you through his visual development process as he creates a Sci-Fi Zombie. In this volume he begins the process from Thumb nailing the character concept using â€˜Painter X'. Then he demonstrates a step by step procedure of creating the zombie from a thumbnail to a fully rendered character using Photoshop.
Carlo emphasizes on using real life images for inspiration and coloring. He also shows you a detailed approach in painting the highly complicated skin texture of the zombie in an easier way. He also explains how value, composition and lighting are all integral for creating drama and mood in a scene. Carlo will also be sharing his valuable experience and the principles he personally follows.
About the Instructor:
Born and raised in the state on Pennsylvania, Carlo Spagnola graduated from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh's Video Game Art and Design program. He has been working as a freelance concept artist for movies and games. Night of the Living Dead, Reanimated and Vita Essentia are a few titles to name for. His passion for art developed along with him through the years which made him choose art as his profession. His hunger to create something new has always kept him exploring his art and techniques. He loves bringing life to the mutated characters and zombies that crawl around his head.
