Description : Windows Home Server 2011 ( code named: Vail) - a new OS for a home server from Microsoft, built on the basis of the core Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 installation and maintenance platform only x64. It is designed to access and manage large amount of media data from client devices such as PCs running Windows and MacOS, Xbox 360 , PlayStation 3 , media player with support for DLNA. Supported by remote access via the Web-based interface . Windows Home Server supports up to 10 personal computers.
This version is the logical continuation of the Windows Home Server v1, released in 2007 , and based on the core Windows Server 2003 SP2.
Disk recovery client is only needed to boot a client computer that has failed and the system will not boot, and restore it to the condition of the pre-made archive stored on the server. Instead, the server allows you to create a bootable USB flash drive with the same content .
Installation requires the removal of all partitions on the hard disk.
